Hwa Chong String Ensemble (HCSE) currently houses 12 souls with ample love to go around. We make music every Wednesday & Friday under the baton of our handsome conductor, Dr. Tan Wee-Hsin - officially conferred Doctor of Music as of June 2008. Should you be curious of, or already in awe of Dr. Tan, the way to his fan club lies in the sign up sheet to HCSE. On usual occasions, we rehearse for a fruitful 3 hours every session. HCSE is much more than an ensemble that gets together to practice periodically; we’re a family that will always have your back. In 2018, HCSE will celebrate another year of unique individuals gathered together for the love of music by sharing our music through our annual concert and much more. It is with much excitement that we foresee a year of good music and more fun coming up, and we look forward to having you join our little family!
