What is Softball in a nutshell:

Softball is much like Baseball, except the ball is not soft.

There are two teams playing, one batting, one fielding and the ball is not soft.

When fielding, there are 9 players on the field and the ball is not soft.

When batting, there are 4 bases in the diamond, and your aim is to run one round around the bases to score, and the ball is not soft.

Whichever team scores the most at the end of the match wins, and the ball is not soft.

Why did Cinderella run away from the ball? Because the ball is not soft.
