“Cross-Country is such a mundane CCA.”, “Trainings are so tough for the Cross-Country runners.”

Ever heard people saying these myths? Well, shed those thoughts! No doubt, Cross-Country trainings are difficult and tough, but it is what makes us better. What training is not physically exhausting? And no, Cross-Country is NOT a mundane CCA. In fact, we have a lot of fun outside of trainings as a team.

The Hwa Chong Cross-Country has consistently produced commendable results over the years in both the National Schools Cross-Country Championships and the National Schools Track and Field Championships. We always strive to do our best and push ourselves beyond our limits.

Cross-Country is a competitive CCA that represents the school in both Track and Field and Cross-Country competitions. We train to strengthen our mind, soul and body to be in the peak condition when we compete and bring glory to the school. Training is indeed tough, but the teammates and their support make the process very much easier and worthwhile. The bonds that you forge with your teammates, are bonds forged out of blood, sweat and tears. These are friends that are literally there for you at your lowest during training and highest when you bring glory to the school in competition. These friends are for life.

So what are you waiting for? Come join us on this enduring journey that will make you a stronger person in your heart, mind, body and soul.
