Badminton is an indoor racquet sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), popular among people of all ages.

The team will consist of a team of players that will represent the school and participate in the annual National Schools Competition (End April – May). These players will be selected via trials. Competitive team members are expected to attend trainings that are thrice a week. The competitive team is coached by Mr Yeo, who is a dedicated, friendly and inspiring coach. To date, the best achievement is a 2nd placing in the annual competition.

Our CCA also aims to promote badminton among the student body, as well as provide a platform for students who share an interest in badminton to meet and engage in friendly matches, and eventually forge friendships. Our team also aims to achieve tight-knit bonds whereby more experienced members will help out less experienced members with basic badminton skills for improvement in play.

With us, you can also look forward to opportunities to engage in sports other than badminton, such as Frisbee and Captain's Ball, which serve to provide our members with wider exposure and, at the same time, opportunities to bond as one.

The EXCO will spearhead either a CIP or SL project each year.
